In the UK, things have gone much further: not only are they arresting people for things they post online, and you can go to jail for "liking" a post the government disapproves of.

It's already happening, and because the prisons in the UK are overcrowded, the government is going to start emptying prisons of criminals in order to create room for speech criminals...

Mind you, approving of turning Britain into a Sharia law country and treating women and children like dirt is not only protected speech, but absolutely encouraged in the name of "diversity" and "inclusion."...

The UK is becoming Islamized, and the leadership of the country is not just fine with it but actually promoting it...

While it is true that we have a First Amendment here, what we don't have is Democrat politicians or many judges who believe that the Constitution is relevant anymore. Their commitment to a "living Constitution" and hatred for "originalism" mean that written protections and laws mean nothing if they decide to ignore them...
