... The fact is we have a dual-track justice system, which is intolerable...That means we must not pretend that any verdict rendered by it is fair or valid. That means we must not allow the people who imposed it upon us in order to silence us, intimidate us, and exact vengeance upon us for the crime of defying them to succeed.

All of the J6 prosecutions are illegitimate, not because the actions of the J6 defendants are all pristine – the vast majority are guilty only of thinking that as part of the People, they had a right to walk through the People’s House – but because they were not treated exactly the same way as those politically aligned with the people persecuting them...

There are reports that President Trump will commute sentences to get people out of prison, then follow up with a pardon “process” to evaluate each conviction. No, no, no. Every conviction – every single one, including those by people forced to plead guilty (and they were forced) – is tainted by the actions of the DOJ, the actions of biased judges, and the fact that the venue in DC was manifestly unjust. No J6 conviction can stand. Every conviction was unfair and unjust...

The savage cruelty and maliciousness of the corrupt Department of Justice and FBI must be repudiated. President Donald Trump must pardon every single one of their victims. There is no other alternative. There is no compromise. Anything less than a total repudiation of this pogrom validates the unspeakable evil perpetrated upon these patriotic citizens...

... we certainly cannot abandon the people who have been tortured not because of what they allegedly did but because of who they voted for...

Trump Must Not Flunk His Litmus Test, by Paul Craig Roberts, The Burning Platform, 18 January 2025:

Trump’s litmus test awaits him on the Oval Office desk. The litmus test is the pardon for every one of the wrongly indicted and wrongly prosecuted January 6 Trump supporters–which means all of them–who attended the rally and were persecuted for doing so.  If Trump fails to immediately issue a full and unconditional pardon to all, he will lose the support of MAGA Americans...

In my view, full pardon for all is just one-third of what needs to be done. Another one-third is restitution for all expenses, lost income, and stress from being wrongly prosecuted and locked away from family, friends, and career in prison. In some cases the vile Democrats imprisoned the wrongly convicted  great distances from their communities, thus depriving them of support from visits from family and friends. Some were kept in solidary confinement. Others were tortured. There is some concern that prison officials will have “misplaced” some of the wrongly convicted in order to hold on to them longer while they look for where they relocated them with confusing transfers. The vileness of Democrats has no limit.

The remaining one-third is actually the most important one-third. The DOJ, FBI, and White House officials responsible for the indictments, prosecutions, and imprisonments must be indicted, prosecuted and sentenced...

January 6 Pardons & Political Realism, by David M. Zsutty, 16 January 2025:

... Apparently, the Soviets didn’t take Ronald Reagan seriously until he fired striking air traffic control workers...

Trump... needs to pardon ALL January 6 defendants. This is yet another binary decision. However, JD Vance, Pam Bondi, and other conservatives have said that they will pardon only non-violent J6ers or do so on a case by case basis. Due to their political amateurism they are mistaking a binary decision informed by Carl Schmitt’s friend-enemy distinction for a non-binary decision that allows for compromise, as if it were a business deal.

There can be no compromise. Anything less than full pardons sends a combination of several dangerous messages: 1. the election wasn’t really stolen so Trump is a liar, 2. resisting a stolen election is worse than stealing it, which emboldens Democrats to steal another election, 3. blacks and liberals can riot with impunity but whites and conservatives better not stick a toe out of line, 4. Trump cannot or will not punish his enemies and reward his friends, and most importantly, 5. Trump is not a serious leader and America is not a serious country. (The only exception to full pardons should be for people who cooperated with the feds, but this exception is an even more hardline application of the friend-enemy distinction)...

What’s most embarrassing is that pardoning all J6ers would cost Trump nothing...

Full pardons are the bare minimum for Putin, or really anyone, to take Trump seriously...
