... In my Wednesday piece for The Post, I noted that 30 million pages of Obama administration records had been trucked to Chicago. The Obama Foundation, working with the National Archives, promised to digitize and put them online. Almost six years after the records arrived at a Chicago-area warehouse, that hasn’t happened.

Trump revved up the controversy Friday when he asserted that President Barack Obama “kept 33 million pages of documents, much of them classified. How many of them pertained to nuclear? Word is, lots!"...

But journalists should be outraged by this perpetual stonewalling. Barack and Michelle Obama collected a $65 million advance for their memoirs, but Americans are still effectively prohibited from seeing his official records....

With the wholly illegal and unconstitutional FBI raid on President Trump's home at Mar-a-Lago on Monday, in search of documents the FBI has long had access to, there can no longer be any doubt about the full communization of the American left.

The thorough weaponization and politicization of each of our law enforcement institutions is now undeniable. The left has crossed Caesar's Rubicon.

The Democrats are so determined to destroy Trump that they are willing to reveal their true colors: they are all Stalinist communists now.

They've just rammed through a nearly $800-billion bill that will obviously exacerbate inflation and will transform the IRS into a Gestapo-like agency, armed and dangerous to all Americans but the very wealthy....

Former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Newt Gingrich called the raid “scary” and a move to a “police state” on FOX.

“This is a socialist machine on a federal level,” added Gingrich. “Do not underestimate how far they will go to retain power.”...

Mark Levin has repeatedly called the political games in Washington, D.C. “post constitutional America.” ... “The F.B.I. is corrupt. It goes after parents, state legislators. This is the worst attack on this republic in modern history. It is an attack not just on Trump, but anyone who supports Trump. Damn corrupt Department of Justice,” said Levin angrily....

Americans are mad as hell and today’s raid takes their anger well beyond gas prices, inflation, ripping of parental rights, critical race theory, transgenderism, abortion, and mandate masks and vaccinations...

I currently believe that this was a fishing expedition and one that violated the Fourth Amendment’s proscription against “general warrants” (i.e., unlimited rights to search someone’s person or property).... There’s also the problem that it’s the president who makes the ultimate determination about what’s classified or not. If Trump concluded, while packing up the office, that a document wasn’t classified...it wasn’t....

What went down last night, on August 8, 2022, with the brazen raid on Donald Trump’s personal home in Florida, was the natural result of a coup plot that has been decades in the making....

I have been telling people for years now that we already live in a fully taken over, communist country. Even if the coup that made us into a communist country has been so subtle as to be unrecognizable by the masses, it’s still a coup....

In my opinion, the coup started in the aftermath of 9/11... Then, when March 2020 rolled around, the government told us that more freedoms had to be curtailed in order to keep us safe.... Then came the election of 2020 when it was clear that the man with the most votes was not the one inaugurated on Inauguration Day....

This was an attempt to provoke civil war.

They need us to take up arms against them so they can fully crack down, call martial law and suspend the elections....

One must wonder if Mr. Trump did not catch the FBI (and DOJ) in a “rope-a-dope” operation of his own.... Were the FBI and DOJ alarmed by what Mr. Trump handed over then, and did it suggest there was plenty of other material, possibly more damaging, in the former president’s collection headed into court? The momentous lawsuit against Hillary — which gets no coverage in the Left agit-prop news media — is not over....

In any case, the FBI and DOJ ended up embarrassing themselves with the August 8 Mar-a-Lago raid, an act as ham-fisted and tone-deaf as any in the nauseating annals of “Joe Biden’s” sinister regime. They outed themselves as an American Gestapo...

When the FBI raided Donald Trump’s home on Monday, a key aspect of what made the United States of America great and free has been lost, and likely cannot be recovered....

The 45th president is not given to understatement, but the FBI raid on his home is much more than just unnecessary and inappropriate. It is criminal. The FBI that was heavily involved in trying to frame and destroy Trump in the Russian Collusion hoax is now trying once again to destroy him, apparently by claiming that he improperly took classified material from the White House. They never cared when Hillary Clinton misused classified material on a grand scale; what is the difference? They’re also likely trying to find something to link him more firmly to the January 6 “insurrection” that never was....

But Joe Biden’s handlers are desperately afraid that Trump will return to the White House on January 20, 2025 and that things will go harder for them next time than they did during his first term. They’re afraid that a vengeful Trump will do a genuine and thorough housecleaning of the desperately corrupt and compromised Washington bureaucracy, and that many of them will, quite justly, end up out of power, and some of them will, even more justly, end up in prison...

This is banana republic stuff. This is the kind of thing that moved Woodrow Wilson to intervene militarily in Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua...

Trump did nothing, but the FBI will find some crime for which the Justice Department will prosecute him. Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden did a great deal, but none of it matters to corrupt officials who share their worldview....
