During an interview with Colorado Public Radio on Thursday released on Friday, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) defended his refusal to reinstitute a state mask mandate by saying that the coronavirus “emergency is over” and state public health officials don’t “get to tell people what to wear.” Polis also argued that because vaccines have been available for a long time, “People who want to be protected are.” And that “If you haven’t been vaccinated, that’s your choice. I respect that...."

He added that he sees the vaccines as “the end of the medical emergency, frankly. People who want to be protected are.”...

We get it. An election is just around the corner and Democrat Polis doesn't want to piss off his subjects any more than he already has.
