“The person sitting behind me is my 75-year-old grandfather,” Owens told the committee. “He grew up in an America where words like racism and white nationalism held real meaning under the Democratic Party’s Jim Crow laws.” Her grandfather, Owens said, “has also had experiences with the Democrat terrorist organization of that time, the Ku Klux Klan. They would regularly visit his home and they would shoot bullets into it.”

Owens continued, “there isn’t a single adult today that in good conscience would make the argument that America is a more racist, more white nationalist society than it was when my grandfather was growing up, and yet we are hearing these terms center around today because what they want to say is that brown people need to be scared, which seems to be the narrative that we hear every four years right ahead of a presidential election.”

The hearing, Owens said, “is not about white nationalism or hate crimes. It is about fear mongering, power and control. It is a preview of a Democrat 2020 election strategy.” According to Owens, “The biggest scandal in American politics is that Democrats have been conning minorities into the belief that we are perpetual victims, all but ensuring our failure. Racial division and class warfare are central to the Democrat party platform. They need blacks to hate whites, the rich to hate the poor. Soon enough it will be the tall hating the short.”...

Owens is the founder of Blexit, the launch of which she described Tuesday morning: “When I became educated about the issues and stopped reacting emotionally which is what the left wants us to do… I began to examine the facts and look at some of the narratives they were spinning.” She obviously found the latter wanting. And she has been traveling around the nation and beyond describing her epiphany to blacks whose faith in the Democrats has been gradually waning for some time.

Blexit, combined with the #WalkAway movement, has the power to destroy the Democrats. In 2016, it was low black turnout in states like Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin that cost Hillary Clinton the election. So the outrageous behavior of Nadler, Lieu, and their accomplices on the House Judiciary Committee was worse than a crime, to coin a phrase, it was a blunder. When black voters, who never see these parasites until a few days before some crucial election, watch Tuesday’s videos of Candace Owens taking these characters to school, they will begin to wonder what the Democrats have done for them lately....

This week on Capitol Hill the Democrat-controlled House Judiciary Committee had a hearing on the threat of “white nationalism.”

I didn't read very far into the transcripts of this event before I realized the complete bogosity of it. It was a pseudo-event...

The notion that our social order is under threat from white nationalism is, as I said, mere pretense....

So what was this hearing really about? My guess is, the motive is linguistic. When you control a powerful ideological narrative, and are determined to keep controlling it, language is key....

Every totalitarian power cult needs a vocabulary of vituperation—some way to talk about the enemies of the people: those wreckers, saboteurs, and counter-revolutionaries who are always trying to slow or divert society's righteous march forward to a radiant future.

Cultural Marxism relied on "racist" through recent decades as the principal identifier for these enemies of the people. The word has worn thin with over-use, though....

My impression is that for most of the past ten or a dozen years, there was a push by the ideologues to replace "racist" with "white supremacist."

For reasons I don't understand, but shall take some guesses at, "white supremacist" is now slipping out of favor. "White nationalist" is the preferred replacement, and this week's congressional hearing was an effort by the ideologues to give "white nationalist" a clear stamp of (dis) approval....
