Contribute to the GoFundMe campaign to privately build America's secure border wall
The GoFundMe project to donate to U.S. Government construction of the border wall has been suspended. However, a new GoFundMe project has been established to obtain donations for private entities to build the wall.
If you had donated to the original project and want to have your donation applied to the new project, you have to tell GoFundMe to transfer your donation.
From Brian Kolfage, President, We Build the Wall, Inc., January 13, 2018:
The media has launched a massive disinformation campaign against We Build the Wall and are doing everything they can to confuse our supporters about what is happening with GoFundMe. In this email, I'm going to share some resources and give you a clear understanding of what's happening so you can push back if you see people spreading the Fake News that "GoFundMe has shut us down" or "All of the $20 Million Border Wall GoFundMe is being refunded." But first, I want to share the latest numbers we've received from GoFundMe.
As of yesterday, more than 80,000 contributors had chosen to support our new plan compared to about 7,000 who have chosen to get a refund. That's more than 91% of our donors who have chosen to back the new plan. If you haven't already, please join the 91% by telling GoFundMe that you still want to build the wall by clicking ***HERE***
I'm also excited to share this short video we put together. I need all of you to share it far and wide!
Now some information to clear up the BS the media is spreading:
Everyone who contributed to the GoFundMe before January 11th has 90 days to make a decision whether or not they still want to support building a wall on our southern border. (Opt-in here).
We are working closely with GoFundMe and the campaign is still very much active. You can see for yourself at www.gofundme.com/thetrumpwall
The media has also launched a vicious smear campaign against me personally. Buzzfeed wrote a nasty article claiming that I pocketed $16,000 from a previous GoFundMe for my fellow wounded veterans. Dozens of other liberal rags have cited the Buzzfeed article so I want to clear that up with you.
That GoFundMe which was put together by my friends was very specific about its goal. They were raising funds to help a triple-amputee veteran, who had made a miraculous recovery, cover his travel expenses to visit and provide support to other severely wounded veterans. That triple-amputee veteran was me and I was given an award from the Wounded Warrior Project for my mentorship program after all the generous support people gave me for my travel.
I've volunteered thousands of hours supporting my fellow wounded veterans. To attack a triple-amputee war veteran like this shows just how low the media is willing to go to slow our project.
We are building a wall and it's driving them crazy that they can't stop us.
Please feel free to ignore or correct anyone you see spreading disinformation. I'll keep you updated on our progress and if you haven't already done so. Please tell GoFundMe you support our new plan by clicking here
And don't forget to share the new video!

From Brian Kolfage, President, We Build the Wall, Inc., January 12, 2018:
Hi this is Brian Kolfage,
I am the triple-amputee veteran who started the viral Border Wall GoFundMe campaign that the media is trying to destroy by declaring the GoFundMe as over (it's not) or by attacking me personally. Sadly for them, it's only wishful thinking as people are genuinely excited about our shift from "We Fund the Wall" to "We BUILD the Wall" and at an astonishing rate donors like you are choosing to "Opt-in" to our plan to take matters into our own hands and build the wall ourselves!
The media is trying to discourage donors like you with misleading headlines that our Border Wall GoFundMe has "imploded" (the Daily Beast) and at least a hundred variations of the headline "A GoFundMe Campaign raised $20 Million for a border wall -- now all the funds will be returned." (CNBC)
I guess it is technically true that everyone will get a refund - and this is the critical part they leave out of the headlines - UNLESS they tell GoFundMe that they still want to be a part of our historic project to build a wall on our Southern Border (which you can do by clicking here).
What they don't know is that our numbers show contributors like you are opting-in to the new team/plan at a rate of more than 6-1. What is the Fake News going to do next week when instead of being finished our campaign grows to $22 Million or $25 Million? Sadly, they'll probably just make up more lies or attack me personally. It doesn't matter what they say, the only thing our success depends on is the decision donors like you.
Do you still want to build a wall on our southern border to prevent criminals, drugs, and God knows what else from sneaking into our country?
If you're still with us, you have to tell GoFundMe!
Tell GoFundMe that you still want to contribute 100 towards the building of a wall on our southern border by clicking ***THIS LINK***

‘We Build The Wall’ Campaign to Launch Non-Profit amid GoFundMe Threats, Breitbart, January 11, 2019:
Brain Kolfage, a triple amputee Air Force veteran who raised $20 million to pay for a border wall, announced the launch of a non-profit on Friday, but a GoFundMe spokesperson said it would refund all of the money raised on the website unless donors “proactively request” to have their money transferred to the new organization...
The new 501(c)4 called We Build the Wall, Inc., has formed a board of directors that Folgate will lead and a team of advisers “to provide critical guidance on the project’s legal, engineering, contracting, environmental, accounting, maintenance, and real estate issues and serve on the advisory board and or the construction, finance and or audit committees,” the Business Wire press release said....
Some of those named to lead the non-profit were included in the Business Wire press release:
- Kris Kobach — Secretary Kobach served as the Secretary of State of the State of Kansas from 2011-2019. A leader in the national effort to stop voter fraud, he drafted and pushed for the Kansas Secure and Fair Elections (SAFE) Act of 2011, which made Kansas the first state in the Union to combine photo ID requirements at the polls, equivalent ID requirements for mail-in ballots, and proof of citizenship at the time of registration.
- John Daniel Moran, Jr. — Mr. Moran is an American businessman, entrepreneur and industrialist best known for his role as President and CEO of Moran Industries, Inc., a warehousing, logistics and transportation company based in Pennsylvania that was founded in 1975.
- Erik Prince — Mr. Prince is an American businessman and Navy SEAL best known as the founder of the security firm Blackwater. He serves as Chairman of Frontier Resource Group, a private equity fund investing in natural resource opportunities in frontier markets.
- Dr. Robert S. Spalding III, Brig Gen, USAF (Ret.) — General Spalding is an accomplished innovator in government and a national security policy strategist. He was the chief architect of the framework for national competition in the Trump Administration’s widely praised National Security Strategy (NSS), and the Senior Director for Strategy to the President.
- “Angel Dad” Steve Ronnebeck — Mr. Ronnebeck lost his 21-year-old son Grant, who was brutally executed by a criminal illegal immigrant over for a pack of cigarettes while working at a convenience store in 2015. Steve has dedicated himself to protecting other families from suffering needless tragedies at the hands of people who have no business being here in the first place through his work with the Ronnebeck Foundation.
- “Angel Mom” Mary Ann Mendoza — Ms. Mendoza lost her son Brandon in 2014, after his police car was hit by an intoxicated driver who was in the U.S. illegally. She is one of several parents who have been meeting with President Trump about how to tighten restrictions on immigrants in the country illegally.
- Sara Carter — Ms. Carter is an award-winning Fox News commentator who specializes in reporting on the border and opioid crisis.
- Sheriff David Clarke — Sheriff Clarke is an American former law enforcement official who served as Sheriff of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
- Congressman Tom Tancredo — Mr. Tancredo is a former United States Congressman who has been referred to as Congress’ most vociferous critic of current immigration policy. He served in the Reagan Administration and ran for President of the United States in the 2008 election.
It is not clear if Kolfage, board members, or advisers will be compensated for their work....
GoFundMe "Trump Wall" campaign to refund all donors after falling short of $1 billion goal, CBS News, January 12, 2019:
A GoFundMe campaign to subsidize what it called "the Trump Wall" will refund all money to donors because it did not meet its $1 billion goal, said Bobby Whithorne, director of North America Communications for GoFundMe. Donors will receive their money on April 11, unless they choose to donate their contribution to the campaign creator's new venture, GoFundMe said in an email to the campaign's participants.
Brian Kolfage, a triple-amputee Air Force veteran, raised more than $20 million on the crowd-funding platform to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. At the onset of the campaign, Kolfage said he would only collect the funds if the campaign hit its goal of $1 billion — about one-fifth of what President Trump has been demanding from Congress to build it.
Vet who organized GoFundMe for Trump border wall vows to build it himself, 9News, January 11, 2019:
... The campaign initially claimed there was a precedent for private funds being used for public projects by citing how a billionaire in 2012 helped fund renovations for half of the Washington Monument.
However, our VERIFY team confirmed the Department of Homeland Security cannot accept gifts without an appropriation from Congress. Since it’s Congress that Trump is battling in order to get his long-promised border wall funded, it’s difficult to imagine that they would grant that appropriation for this particular campaign.
In the Friday update on the GoFundMe page, the group said it had come to the conclusion that the federal government wouldn't be able to accept their donations anytime soon. Kolfage also wrote that his team of professionals believes they can "complete significant segments of the wall in less time, and for far less money, than the federal government." ...
