Comparing and contrasting candidate positions in the 2020 Presidential election:

Biden - Harris positions on key issues

Here are some of the Biden - Harris positions on key issues, including immigration law enforcement.

Joe Biden Told Voters the Second Amendment DOES NOT Protect an Individual Right, NRL-ILA, September 21, 2020:

During a September 2019 “townhall” hosted by New Hampshire ABC affiliate WMUR, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden made clear that he does not believe the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms and that the U.S. Supreme Court decision in District of Columbia v. Heller was incorrect....

Biden responded in part, “If I were on the court I wouldn’t have made the same ruling. OK, that’s number one.”...

Aside from his denunciation of Heller and denial that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to keep and bear arms, Biden also displayed a fundamental misunderstanding of the Bill of Rights. The Second Amendment was not “given as a right”by the U.S. Constitution. Rather, as the U.S. Supreme Court made clear in Heller, the Second Amendment protects a right that pre-existed the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights....

Such recognition of the Second Amendment was conspicuously absent from the 2016 and 2020 versions of the platform. ...

From Trump and Biden on immigration: nearly opposite, but not quite, La Times, August 17, 2020:

  • Joe Biden’s proposed immigration platform aims to undo Trump’s “misguided policies” by taking an opposing position on just about every one of the president’s efforts to curb immigration...
  • Biden would expand protections for immigrants [illegal aliens] and restore many of the Obama-era policies overturned by Trump.
  • Biden has said that during his first 100 days in office he would end Trump’s national emergency declaration, which has rerouted billions in federal funds to the border wall...
  • He’s promised that in his first 100 days he would prioritize family reunifications, reinstate the DACA program and rescind the Trump administration’s travel ban on many Muslim-majority countries...
  • Biden promises to work with Congress to increase the number of employment-based immigration visas and triple the number of U visas granted to victims of human trafficking and certain other crimes. He’s also vowed to raise the annual refugee admissions to 125,000...
  • He proposes a four-year, $4-billion regional plan that, in collaboration with leaders in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, would target corruption... To pay for the United States’ investment in the plan, Biden would use funds from the Department of Homeland Security’s budget for the detention of migrants...
  • In July, the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Forces, a combination of supporters of Biden and his former primary rival Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, offered platform recommendations that included protecting the parents of Dreamers under the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans, or DAPA...
  • Biden expressed remorse for the millions of deportations the Obama administration carried out, calling the policies a “big mistake.”...
  • Biden has said healthcare coverage should be available for everyone, no matter their legal status. His campaign said he supports allowing immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally [illegal aliens] to buy unsubsidized coverage...
  • The Biden-Sanders task forces recommend extending Affordable Care Act coverage to DACA recipients...

The Biden Plan for Securing Our Values as a Nation of Immigrants, September 7, 2020:

  • ... Biden will forcefully pursue policies that... Take urgent action to undo Trump’s damage...
  • As Vice President, Biden championed the creation and expansion of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program; the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA) progra...
  • Immediately reverse the Trump Administration’s cruel and senseless policies that separate parents from their children at our border...
  • End the mismanagement of the asylum system, which fuels violence and chaos at the border. Trump’s disastrous policy of “metering” — limiting the number of asylum applications accepted each day ...
  • Reverse Trump’s public charge rule...
  • End the so-called National Emergency that siphons federal dollars from the Department of Defense to build a wall....
  • Protect Dreamers and their families...
  • Rescind the un-American travel and refugee bans, also referred to as “Muslim bans.”...
  • Creates a roadmap to citizenship for the nearly 11 million [a significantly low estimate] people [illegal aliens] who have been living in and strengthening our country for years...
  • Provides a path to legalization [amnesty] for agricultural workers who have worked for years on U.S. farms...
  • Preserves preferences for diversity in the current system. Trump has set his sights on abolishing the Diversity Visa lottery....
  • Increases the number of visas offered for permanent, work-based immigration [H-1b visas]...
  • Increase the number of refugees we welcome into the country...

From Joe Biden’s Agenda for the Indian American Community, September 7, 2020:

  • Biden will rescind Trump’s “Muslim ban” on day one and reverse the detrimental asylum policies that are causing chaos and a humanitarian crisis at our border. He will immediately begin working with Congress to pass legislative immigration reform that modernizes our system, with a priority on keeping families together by providing a roadmap to citizenship for nearly 11 million undocumented immigrants [illegal aliens]....
  • Biden will support family-based immigration and preserve family unification as a core principle of our immigration system, which includes reducing the family visa backlog. He will increase the number of visas offered for permanent, work-based immigration...
  • Biden will support family-based immigration and preserve family unification as a core principle of our immigration system, which includes reducing the family visa backlog. He will increase the number of visas offered for permanent, work-based immigration...
  • He will also work with Congress to establish a minimum admissions number of 95,000 refugees annually. Biden will remove the uncertainty for Dreamers by reinstating the DACA program...
  • ... he will nominate and appoint federal officials and judges who look like America, including from the Indian American community. ..

From Joe Biden’s Jobs and Economic Recovery Plan for Working Families, September 7, 2020:

  • ... he will pursue a dedicated agenda to close the racial wealth gap, to expand affordable housing, to invest in Black, Latino, and Native American entrepreneurs and communities, to advance policing and criminal justice reform, and to make real the promise of educational opportunity regardless of race or zip code....
  • ... a decent wage, at least $15 per hour...
  • ... Joe Biden will make new, bold investments and speed up the timetable for many of the 10-year investments he has already announced. He will pay for the ongoing costs of the plan by reversing some of Trump’s tax cuts for corporations and imposing common-sense tax reforms that finally make sure the wealthiest Americans pay their fair share. ...

From The Biden Plan to Build Back Better by Advancing Racial Equity Across the American Economy, September 7, 2020:

  • Spur more than $50 billion in additional public-private venture capital to Black and Brown entrepreneurs...
  • Expand access to $100 billion in low-interest business loans by funding state, local, tribal and non-profit lending programs in Black and Brown communities...
  • ... requiring U.S. corporations with over $1 billion in revenues that receive federal financing or incentives for their global business to publicize data on their use of firms owned by Black and Brown Americans in their supply chains;...
  • ... Eliminate local and state housing regulations that perpetuate discrimination. Exclusionary zoning has for decades been strategically used to keep Black and Brown people and low-income families out of certain communities. Among other steps, Biden will enact legislation requiring any state receiving federal dollars through the Community Development Block Grants or Surface Transportation Block Grants to develop a strategy for inclusionary zoning, as proposed in the HOME Act of 2019 by Majority Whip Jim Clyburn and Senator Cory Booker.... See Joe Biden’s full housing plan.
  • Make public colleges and universities, as well as private HBCUs and MSIs, tuition-free for all families with incomes below $125,000.
  • Guarantee up to 12 weeks paid family and medical leave for all workers and up to seven days of paid sick, family, and safe leave.
  • Eliminate cash bail.

From The Biden Plan to End Our Gun Violence Epidemic,  September 7, 2020:

  • Hold gun manufacturers accountable....
  • Ban the manufacture and sale of assault [meaning non-military] and high-capacity [meaning standard capacity] magazines...
  • Regulate possession of existing assault [meaning non-military] weapons under the National Firearms Act....
  • Biden supports legislation restricting the number of firearms an individual may purchase per month to one....
  • Reinstate the Obama-Biden policy to keep guns out of the hands of certain people unable to manage their affairs for mental reasons, which President Trump reversed....
  • End the online sale of firearms and ammunitions. ...
  • Incentivize state “extreme risk” laws. Extreme risk laws, also called “red flag” laws...
  • Put America on the path to ensuring that 100% of firearms sold in America are smart guns....
  • Require gun owners to safely store their weapons....

From The Biden Plan for Mobilizing American Talent and Heart to Create a 21st Century Caregiving and Education Workforce, September 7, 2020:

  • The [economic recovery] plan will cost $775 billion over 10 years and will be paid for by rolling back unproductive and unequal tax breaks for real estate investors with incomes over $400,000 and taking steps to increase tax compliance for high-income earners.

From The Biden Plan to Build a Modern, Sustainable Infrastructure and an Equitable Clean Energy Future, September 7, 2020:

  • Ensure that environmental justice is a key consideration in where, how, and with whom we build...
  • Require that companies receiving procurement contracts are using taxpayer dollars to support good American jobs, including a commitment to pay at least $15 per hour, provide paid leave, maintain fair overtime and scheduling practices, and guarantee a choice to join a union and bargain collectively.
  • Biden will ensure these jobs are filled by diverse, local, well-trained workers – including women and people of color – by requiring federally funded projects to prioritize Project Labor and Community Workforce Agreements and employ workers trained in registered apprenticeship programs.
  • Make major public investments in automobile infrastructure — including in 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations
  • Create a new Advanced Research Projects Agency on Climate
  • Biden has a comprehensive environmental justice plan,

From The Biden Agenda for Women, September 7, 2020:

  • Biden will work to codify Roe v. Wade, and his Justice Department will do everything in its power to stop the rash of state laws that so blatantly violate Roe v. Wade.
  • Restore federal funding for Planned Parenthood.
  • Restore the Affordable Care Act’s contraception mandate in place before the U.S. Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision.

From Biden's Authoritarian America, American Thinker, September 26, 2020:

  • Biden has promised to sign the Equality Act into law if it is passed by the Senate.... the Equality Act would force religious individuals and organizations to speak messages and act in ways that violate their beliefs, under the threat of punishment.
  • Biden will restore the Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare"), forcing religious ministries and schools, along with businesses operated by religiously devout owners, to cover the insurance cost of birth control drugs that can cause abortions.
  • Biden will require taxpayers to fund abortions...
  • Biden will restore Obama's guidance for college tribunals on sexual misconduct....
  • Biden will reinstate Obama's heavy-handed transgender "bathroom directive."...
  • Biden said he would shut down the country if necessary in order to stop the spread of the coronavirus, even though the direct oversight of public health is not a power delegated to the president or the federal government. Only the states have the power, under the 10th Amendment...
  • He will also establish an "Environmental and Climate Justice Division" in order to further consolidate federal power by using, in his words, an "all-of-government approach."...
  • Finally, under Joe Biden, the federal government will extend its tentacles to local neighborhoods by regulating zoning.  His administration will end single-family zoning in many suburbs and create "little downtowns" in these communities by building high-density, low-income housing....

Joe Biden Says He Supports 8-Year-Olds Changing Gender: 'I Will Flat Out Just Change The Law'', Information Liberation, October 15, 2020:  Biden said. "And what's happening is, too many transgender women of color are being murdered. They're being murdered." Watch.

Biden - Harris positions on Second Amendment

This article shows videos of statements from Biden and Harris on their intent to violate the Second Amendment.

The Trump campaign puts out a hard-hitting Second Amendment ad, by Andrea Widburg, American Thinker, October 20, 2020:

People have figured out this year that they need to be self-reliant.  They're also realizing as they look at governments across America, including the federal government, that these entities don't always have the citizens' best interests at heart.  Therefore, people should look askance at a Biden administration that has sided with both those who want to defund the police and with the criminals, and that has vehemently espoused gun seizures.

Note that in the debate video in the above article, both Biden and Harris are intent upon issuing an "assault weapons" ban.

An assult weapon is a weapon used by the military that when you press the trigger, the weapon goes bang, bang, bang... until you release the trigger or you run out of ammunition. This is termed automatic fire. Assault weapons are already restricted to civilians.

A standard carbine, such as an AR-15 or AK-47, when sold to civilians, will go bang only one time each time you press the trigger. This is termed semi-automatic fire.

Biden - Harris intend to ban standard, non-military weapons from civilian ownership. Notice the duplicitous use of terminology. As Biden says in the second video, "Bingo!"

Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations

On or about July 7, 2020, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders released a consolidated platform in a 110 page report called the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations.

Here are key items from the platform:

9 Radical Ideas in the Biden-Sanders ‘Unity’ Platform, Brietbart, July 9, 2020:

1. “Rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement … on Day One.”...

2. Shift the entire “fleet of 500,000 school buses to American-made, zero-emission alternatives” in five years....

3. “End cash bail.” ...

4. “Stop the practice of arresting children for behavior that ought to be handled in the principal’s office.”...

5. “We will repeal so-called ‘right to work’ laws.”...

6. “Democrats will recognize unions with majority sign-up—via so-called ‘card check’ processes.” ...

7. “Oppose private school vouchers.”...

8. Provide a “public option” toward universal health care....

9. End the border wall and “provide a roadmap to citizenship for the millions of undocumented workers.”... [That is, issue mass amnesty to the 20 million to 38 million illegal aliens residing in Amerrica.]

Joe Biden Joins Forces with Bernie Sanders and AOC in New Platform, The Heartland Institute, July 9, 2020:

On July 6, just two days after Americans celebrated the nation’s 244th birthday, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said, “We have an incredible opportunity to not just dig out of this crisis, but to fundamentally transform the country.”

Two days later, Biden released his plan to transform America in the form of a 110-page document titled “Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations.” Shortly after the document was released, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said Joe Biden would be “the most progressive president since FDR.” That is quite a statement....

Below is a brief summary....

“Combating the Climate Crisis and Pursuing Environmental Justice”: This section is basically a rehash of the Green New Deal....

“Protecting Communities by Reforming Our Criminal Justice System”... To accomplish their goal of overhauling the system, the task force says, “We must start by preventing people from entering the criminal justice system in the first place.” In other words, we should stop arresting criminals....

This section also advises that we must “reimagine policing.” As stated, this reimagination would also include severe cuts to police departments, which parallels the ridiculous “Defund the Police” movement....

“Building A Stronger, Fairer Economy”: This section could easily be mistaken for The Communist Manifesto....

“Providing A World-Class Education in Every Zip Code”... ;By vital investments they mean, give teachers unions more money. There is not one mention of school choice in the entire document, except for eliminating vouchers and other education choice initiatives....

“Health Care Unity Task Force Recommendations”: In a nutshell, “The Task Force recommends Democrats meet this moment by guaranteeing free or low-cost health care coverage for every American, including by expanding Medicaid... “As a Task Force and as Democrats, we fundamentally believe health care is a right for all, not a privilege for the few. That is why we will also remove barriers to allow states to access federal funds to implement models that move toward universal health care.”

“Immigration Unity Task Force Recommendations”: Last but not least, the task force recommends, “We will work with Congress to reform our immigration system to provide a roadmap to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented... [That is, issue mass amnesty to the 20 million to 38 million illegal aliens residing in Amerrica.]

Trump important accomplishments

This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can't be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won't be done. The Founders' Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.

Biden Calls For Nation-Busting Amnesty In Final Debate

... Joe Biden also made a critical error when he claimed that he never supported a fracking ban, when we have it on video that he did.

What we know, with absolute certainty, is that Joe Biden would pass a nation-busting amnesty for tens of millions of illegals occupying our country. Biden cited the 11 million figure, but we know the number of illegals is far higher. Such an amnesty would also encourage additional illegal immigration. Interestingly, Biden also seemed to throw his former boss, President Barack Obama, under the bus with his answer.

"I’ll be President of the United States, not Vice President of the United States. And the fact is I’ve made it very clear. Within a 100 days, I’m going to send to the United States Congress a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented people. And all of those so-called dreamers, those DACA kids, they’re going to be immediately certified again to be able to stay in this country and put on a path to citizenship."...

Of course, a real country would be able to enforce its immigration laws. We shouldn't even be debating this. The framing of the questions so that the illegals were always portrayed as victims was nauseating....

Biden’s Immigration Plan Will Fundamentally Change America

The 2020 presidential election is shaping up to be one of the most consequential electoral events in American history. In the midst of a global pandemic, Americans will choose between the ever-controversial President Donald Trump and his opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, whose policy positions continue drifting to the left. Nowhere is this more evident than in the issue of immigration, where Joe Biden and his running mate, Democratic California Sen. Kamala Harris, promise nothing less than to enact the largest amnesty – upwards of 11 million illegal aliens – in the nation’s history.

The Biden-Harris plan would create policies that would add over 46 million legal immigrants to the United States by increasing legal immigration and through amnesty legislation. Their indifference toward immigration enforcement means that millions of future illegal aliens could, and likely will, enter the United States, lured by an executive branch uninterested in enforcing immigration law. The Biden-Harris plan is the complete antithesis of President Trump’s promise to increase immigration enforcement and move to a merit-based legal immigration system that prioritizes the skills and talents of potential immigrants, rather than their family connections....

Politically, the Biden-Harris plan all but promises to eliminate competitive national elections. A pathway to citizenship means that millions of new, naturalized citizens — formerly illegal aliens — now have a vote. Amnestying these aliens immediately alters the political makeup of states such as Texas, Florida, Arizona and Georgia, which are either reliably Republican states or key swing votes. This is not theoretical. Both Pew Hispanic and a University of Maryland study confirm that most immigrants — both legal and illegal — lean toward or outright support the Democratic Party while mostly eschewing the GOP...

Practically, the Biden plan will place enormous strain on our country’s economy, welfare programs and opportunities....

Article Body:
... Joe Biden’s campaign website reveals plans for a federal takeover of local zoning laws to force suburban jurisdictions with single-family homes and minimum lot sizes to build “affordable” high density housing.

● Professed purpose: “To invest in our communities through housing by rebuilding the middle class and ensuring that this time everyone is included.” Translation: Inundate the suburbs with low-income public housing projects.

● Actual purpose: To eviscerate GOP voting strength in the suburbs by relocating legions of government-dependent voters from the inner city.

● Result No. 1: Crime will skyrocket and property values will plummet, both of which will adversely affect Democrats and Independents who also own homes in the suburbs.

● Result No. 2: Once-safe communities will become challenging places to live or raise a family.

● Result No. 3: Suburban jurisdictions will be forced to build new schools and bigger water & sewer systems needed to accommodate high density living.

● Result No. 4: If elected, Democrats will defund the police and confiscate guns, leaving suburban families defenseless against street crime and home invasions. Meanwhile, Democrat elected officials will be protected by heavily-armed security guards funded by taxpayers.

● How you vote on Nov. 3 will determine whether America’s suburbs will be converted by federal mandates into the kind of urban war zones that plague law-abiding citizens of all races who live in troubled areas of Democrat-controlled cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit, Baltimore and Atlanta....

● Biden’s plan to subvert the suburbs WILL HAPPEN if he’s elected. Please read and share the important article linked to below.

Fact Check: 19 False Claims in Barack Obama’s Speech for Joe Biden in Florida

Article Body:

President Barack Obama delivered a speech in Florida on behalf of Joe Biden’s presidential campaign on Saturday, in the course of which he stated at least nineteen false claims about President Donald Trump and his record.

From the transcript:

1. “He doesn’t have a plan” for coronavirus. ...the president did, in fact, specifically mention Operation Warp Speed, his plan to develop and distribute a coronavirus vaccine quickly.

2. Trump couldn’t answer Leslie Stahl of 60 Minutes when she asked, “What’s your priority in your second term?” In fact, Trump answered her: “The priority now is to get back to normal, get back to where we were, to have the economy rage and be great with jobs and everybody be happy. And that’s where we’re going and that’s where we’re heading.”

3. “He doesn’t even acknowledge that there’s a problem” (i.e. coronavirus).  This is obviously not true, and provably so. Trump even talked about coronavirus in his State of the Union address, which Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) ripped in two.

4. Trump said “if you put some bleach in you, that might clean things up.” Trump never said that....

5. “America created 1.5 million more jobs in the last year of the Obama-Biden administration than in the first three years of the Trump-Pence administration.” Obama seems to be saying that more jobs were created in 2016 than in 2017, 2018, and 2019 combined, which is demonstrably untrue...

6. Black unemployment went down, but “not because Donald Trump did anything.” It is possible to credit several Trump policies with lowering black unemployment, especially immigration enforcement...

7. “The only people truly better off than they were four years ago are the billionaires who got Trump tax cuts.” A Gallup poll recently found that 56% of registered voters said they were better off than they were four years ago, which is a record high....

8. “He barely pays income taxes.” In fact, Trump pays tens of millions of dollars in taxes, despite losses in some years.

9. Trump has “secret Chinese bank accounts.” The Trump hotel chain used a legal bank account to pay taxes in China when it made licensing deals....

10. “His first year in the White House he only paid $750 in federal income tax.” Trump paid over seven million dollars in taxes in 2017...

11. Trump has no plan “when it comes to preexisting conditions.” The president... issued an executive order laying out his plan in September.

12. Trump “drove up costs” under Obamacare. Actually, Obamacare premiums have been falling under Trump.

13. Trump said: “We hope the Supreme Court takes your health insurance away.” Trump never said that...

14. Trump is “MIA” when “Russia puts bounties on the heads of our brave soldiers in Afghanistan.” The Pentagon said that there was never “corroborating evidence” of a supposed Russian program to pay bounties for killing U.S. soldiers.

15. “Joe Biden would never call the men and women of our military suckers and losers.” Neither would Trump, because it never happened. Biden did call U.S. troops “stupid bastards,” however....

16. Trump asked if we could “nuke hurricanes.” Even Snopes.com regards this claim as “unproven.”...

17. Trump “cannot call out or even criticize white supremacists.” This divisive, false claim is also easily disproven.

18. Trump “threatens people with jail for just criticizing him.” This does not appear to have ever happened. Trump did threaten a reporter with prison time — after he defied instructions not to photograph a classified letter from Jim Kong-un. It was the Obama administration, that tried to prosecute journalist James Risen of the New York Times, and which jailed an obscure filmmaker after it blamed an obscure anti-Islamic YouTube video for the Benghazi terror attack in September 2012.

19. The EPA is “giving polluters free reign to dump unlimited poison into our air and water.” Demonstrably untrue....

Fiscal impact of Biden and Trump plans: compare and contrast

The following article compares and contrasts the fiscal impact of Biden and Trump plans. The article is extensive. The introduction is included below:

Biden And Trump Promises: Compare And Contrast by Hugo Erken, Philip Marey, Hidde Sevinga and Michiel van der Veen of Rabobank, ZeroHedge, October 25, 2020:

Summary
  • While both Trump and Biden want to boost economic growth and reduce unemployment, their approaches are radically different.
  • Trump wants to grow the economy by reducing taxes and regulation, whereas Biden seeks to achieve this through increased government spending and investment
  • In this report, we try to assess the impact of their policy plans on a range of macroeconomic variables, such as GDP, real income, public debt and trade

Trump
  • A second term for President Trump would leave our baseline scenario for US GDP growth and the public debt largely unchanged. The upward effect on GDP growth from additional Trump tax cuts would be offset by the cuts in government spending aimed at stabilizing the public debt to GDP ratio
  • The tax relief in the Trump administration’s plans results in a rapid pickup of real personal disposable income in the aftermath of the corona crisis from $43,350 per capita by the end of this year to roughly $47,000 in 2025, which is $1,000 more than in our baseline
  • Unemployment and trade under Trump would roughly follow the same trajectory as in our baseline

Biden
  • The Biden plan would boost GDP growth, but also the trajectory of public debt to GDP. In the long run, we expect the US economy to be larger by 3.8% to 4.6% due to the Biden plan tapping into the endogenous growth potential of the economy. However, we expect public debt to arrive at somewhere between 164% and 170% of GDP, which is much higher than the 147% in our baseline scenario
  • As Biden imposes higher taxes, by 2025 we project real disposable personal income to barely touch $46,000 per capita, which is even slightly below our baseline. However, as the impact of tax policies start to peter out, we expect a rapid pickup in income after 2025, which is directly related to productivity-enhancing policies which prop up economic growth. Ultimately, we expect real income to be 2.2% to 3.3% higher
  • US trade is expected to rise significantly under Biden. As US export do not rise in tandem, this will also result in a widening trade deficit in the long run
  • In the short term, Biden’s policy packages push unemployment below levels in our baseline, as positive employment effects of additional government spending outweighs the negative impact of a higher minimum wage. However, mid- decade unemployment is expected to rise above the baseline, partly related to higher corporate taxes and a pickup in labor-saving technological change

Here Are 11 of Joe Biden’s Biggest Debate Lies

President Trump trounced Joe Biden during their final debate Thursday night in Tennessee. It wasn’t even close...

Last night, Trump was forced to defend his record, to explain it… And because he has a very good record as president, he was able to.

Because Joe Biden has a terrible record, he was forced to lie… To tell 11 bald-faced whoppers, and here they are… All of Biden’s quotes below come directly from last night’s debate. [emphasis mine throughout]

1. No One Lost Their Insurance Under ObamaCare...

FACT: Up to six million people lost their private health insurance plan after Obamacare became the law of the land, and the reason people lost their private health insurance is the most immoral things about Obamacare… Obamacare outlawed — actually made it illegal, for private insurance to offer private plans that did not live up to Obamacare’s lofty and ridiculous standards...

2. America was Cozy with Hitler...

FACT: ... at no time was Roosevelt fooled by Hitler. He certainly tried to stop and stay out of the European war, but Hitler’s aggression towards our allies and Hitler’s own hatred of America… This is such a stupid lie....

3. I Never Opposed Fracking...

FACT: ...Biden spent the entire primary opposing fracking...

4. I Didn’t Oppose Trump’s China Travel Ban...

FACT:  Here are Biden’s own tweets attacking the China travel ban as xenophobic: We are in the midst of a crisis with the coronavirus. We need to lead the way with science — not Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering. He is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency. — Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) February 1, 2020...

5. Illegal Aliens Show Up For Asylum Hearings After Being Caught and Released...

FACT: Catch and release is America’s gobsmackingly stupid policy of catching illegal aliens in our country and then releasing them back into our country with a notice to show up for an asylum hearing. Yes, we release illegals into our own country after we have caught them. ...

6. Raising the Minimum Wage Does Not Hurt Anyone...

FACT: ... The idea that mandating a raise in the minimum wage hurts businesses and workers is not even controversial. Everyone knows it does....

7. No One Brought Up Biden’s Troubling Ukraine Conflicts of Interest During Impeachment...

FACT: Again, we have the video tape proving this is a lie. A whole lot of people involved with impeachment were concerned with Hunter Biden looting Ukraine while his dad, the vice president, was the Obama administration’s point person there....

8. Trump Never Told Putin to Stop Meddling in American Elections...

FACT: Oh, isn’t China Joe, whose family received $3.5 million from the former mayor of Moscow, precious when he says to the “best of my knowledge.” He knows damn well Trump has told Putin to butt out — plenty of times....

9. Hunter’s Emails are Part of a “Russian Plan”...

FACT: The evidence that the Hunter Biden  emails exposing Joe Biden as the head of a crime family trading off his role as vice president to get rich continue to be verified  — and done so on-the-record,...

Here's Why Trump's Final Debate Was a Game-Changer, by Larry O'Connor, October 23, 2020.

Joe Biden’s Gun Agenda Could Cost AR-15 Owners $3.6 Billion in Taxes for Guns They Already Own

Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s proposed gun control policy includes a provision that could require every AR-15 rifle be registered under the National Firearms Act of 1934. Unless there were some form of carve-out, this could mandate that American gun owners pay a $200 federal tax per AR-15 that they own. The National Rifle Association’s Andrew Arulanandam told Breitbart News that the current “low end” estimate of privately-owned AR-15s in the United States is 18 million. A tax of $200 on 18 million AR-15s means that gun owners could potentially be required to a pay a collective $3.6 billion in taxes, if this policy were enacted into legislation.

That figure does not even consider other guns that might be deemed “assault weapons” by Democrats, which could also fall under the same provisions of the National Firearms Act.

In addition to the $200 tax, owners of guns that are deemed “assault weapons,” under Biden’s view of the NFA, could also be required to register these weapons with federal authorities, submit their finger prints and photograph, and potentially submit to an FBI background check.

All of this is detailed on Biden’s campaign website, which states in bullet-point form (emphasis in original):

Regulate possession of existing assault weapons under the National Firearms Act. Currently, the National Firearms Act requires individuals possessing machine-guns, silencers, and short-barreled rifles to undergo a background check and register those weapons with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Due to these requirements, such weapons are rarely used in crimes. As president, Biden will pursue legislation to regulate possession of existing assault weapons under the National Firearms Act....

Kamala Harris: Racism Begins at Home

During an early Democrat Presidential candidates’ debate, Kamala Harris painted an ugly picture of American racism, recounting her alleged experience as a young student on a school bus in progressive Berkeley, CA’s public-school integration program...

But the fact is, racism ran deep in her Indian mother’s Hinduism and its race-based caste system. It’s likely plays a part in Kamala’s obsession with race.

As her Indian-born Hindu mother, the late Shyamala Gopalan, said

“In Indian society we go by birth…We are Brahmins, that is the top caste. Please do not confuse this with class, which is only about money. For Brahmins, the bloodline is the most important. My family, named Gopalan, goes back more than 1,000 years.”...

Yet, when Gopalan entered a “love marriage” in 1963 and had children with a mixed-race Jamaican student she met while studying a UC Berkeley, she tainted her family’s carefully reserved bloodline...

Perhaps it was when young Kamala sprouted an Afro that Gopalan first understood her daughters would never pass for Brahmins and would face harsh racial discrimination in her native India... To protect them—and herself—she made a conscious decision to abandon racist India and raise her daughters as Blacks in far more tolerant North America...

In recent years, Kamala has created a narrative that portrays her privileged Brahmin relatives as mainstream Progressives, including characterizing her mother as a “civil rights activist.”...

As with other first-generation Americans descended from non-White foreigners who chose to emigrate to the US (the most notable being President Obama) Kamala and her sister Maya (Hindi for Illusion) have made “American racism”  i.e. anti-white agitation their central cause by expanding African-American descendants-of-slaves’ issues to include themselves, “People of Color”, even if they have just arrived in the US....

On Donald Trump’s Extraordinary Achievements

The achievements of President Donald J. Trump are so boldly true to the real dangers facing the United States, and so unlike the usual tripe out of Washington since the days of Bill Clinton, George Bush Jr., and Barack Obama, that many people confuse his successes with failure.

Shutting down illegal immigration wasn’t a denial of people’s rights but a valid action to enforce existing laws. Quitting the Paris Agreement on climate change was not an abandonment of American leadership in the world but a bold assertion of it—and of reality over delusion. The president’s rebuke of U.S. allies for failing to shoulder their share of the costs of military defence didn’t divide and damage NATO, it helped to restore its integrity by correcting long-term scofflaws. And far from being xenophobic and racist, closing the border to Chinese air traffic early in the pandemic was a proper and responsible act that helped to save American lives.

Why this isn’t more generally accepted is baffling—and troubling, for it betrays a decided lack of clear thinking and the ability to discriminate and weigh the worth of ideas....

In four short years, the achievements of President Trump so magnificently dwarf those of his predecessors—whose actions or inactions created or sustained many of the problems he addressed—that it is difficult to comprehend why more than the record 74 million Americans didn’t support him in November....

It seems a great coincidence that the virus from China crippled the American economy and hijacked the election at the very moment most damaging to Mr. Trump’s bid for a second term. The Chinese, it seems, got their men—Trump, knifed in the back; Biden, lifted to the presidency. And people thought the Russians were good at electoral interference!

Second Presidential debate - a calm, masterful Donald Trump made mincemeat of Joe Biden

From the article, A calm, masterful Donald Trump made mincemeat of Joe Biden, by Andrea Widburg, American Thinker, October 23, 2020:

The moment Donald Trump and Joe Biden appeared on the stage, Trump was in control. He looked robust, while Biden appeared frail and slow. Trump’s dominance extended beyond looks. He ably defended his record against attacks from both Biden and the moderator, Kristen Welker. He also politely, but insistently, pressed Biden on his decades of failure, the damage he caused to the black community, and his corrupt dealings with his son, Hunter. It was a rout.

Those expecting Trump to be a bit of a madman, as he was during the first debate, were disappointed. Trump, having achieved his goal during the first debate of forcing Biden to alienate some of his base, no longer needed the madman tactic. This time, Trump was charming, polite, and endlessly upbeat about America’s prospects. Biden, meanwhile, literally said that America was “about to go into a dark winter. A dark winter.”

As expected, Welker was a biased moderator. To her credit, she asked Biden about China and Ukraine, although she left the topic as quickly as possible....

Even more irritating than the premise of her questions, though, was Welker’s determination to cut Trump’s rebuttals off immediately while letting Biden answer at length. Indeed, when Trump reminded Biden that Hunter walked out of China with $1.5 billion and started discussing the newly released emails, Welker frantically interrupted Trump to ensure that Biden wouldn’t have to try to answer the question....

Joe made it clear he wants to pathologize America permanently as a place of ebbing and flowing lockdowns and government dependency. Trump, however, wants America back on her feet and pointedly said we can’t all live like Joe, either locked in a basement or getting lots of money from unknown sources...

Probably the biggest hit that Biden took, though, was on the subject of energy independence and fracking. Showing how completely he is under the control of the AOC branch of the Democrat party, Joe said that he would close down the oil industry... Biden also outright lied when he denied that he’d promise to end fracking...

The first Presidential debate: The Trump debate decoded: He won, and he won big, by Andrea Widburg, American Thinker, October 1, 2020:

With 24 hours having passed since the first presidential debate, it's becoming clear that Trump won in a big way.  It wasn't an apparent victory, but it was a real one: he showed his base and ordinary Americans that he will always fight while forcing Biden to disavow both his hard-left base and the last of the old-fashioned Democrats who still support him...

The world feels unstable and often very scary.  Voters viscerally understand that Trump will be their champion.  He will fight to the death to defend them....

Trump also managed to expose what a nasty jerk Biden is.  That matters.  With Trump, we're used to it.  From Biden, who poses as "Mr. Nice Everyman," it's jarring and ugly....

Trump got Biden to say: "The party is me. Right now, I am the Democratic party."  The Democrat party is a doddering old man who everyone knows was hopped up on Adderall to handle the debate.

On the subject of socialist medicine, "There is no manifesto..."  Biden just disavowed the Democrat Party platform, which Bernie Sanders's team wrote.  It's filled with socialist ideas.

"The Green New Deal is not my plan."  First, this is a lie.  Second, this is an atom bomb against the base, as it would be if Trump were to tell his base, "I'm going to tear down the wall."...

Your mission, which I hope you accept, is to go to the polls on November 3.  None of this mail-in stuff.  Vote in person, every one of you, and make it a straight Republican ticket from Trump down to the local dog-catcher.

Here's Why Trump's Final Debate Was a Game-Changer, by Larry O'Connor, October 23, 2020.

Study: Biden Will Raise Taxes On 80 Percent Of Americans, Cut Annual Income $6,500 Per Household

A new study shows that Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden’s proposed economic plan would significantly hurt the long-term American economy if implemented.

While many mainstream media outlets claim Biden’s plan will target the wealthy and save the middle-class money, the 50-page study released by the Hoover Institution shows different results.

“Economists have paid too little attention to the economic effects of the Biden plan,” said Casey B. Mulligan, professor of economics at the University of Chicago. “Our report, which focuses on taxation, health insurance, regulation, and energy policy, suggests that these effects are potentially very large indeed.”

The study conducted by a group of financial and economic experts including Mulligan, former Chief Economist of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, and Kevin Hassett, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers since 2017, demonstrates how Biden’s plan will hurt everyone.

“We conclude that, in the long run, Vice President Biden’s full agenda reduces full-time equivalent employment per person by about 3 percent, the capital stock per person by about 15 percent, real GDP per capita by more than 8 percent, and real consumption per household by about 7 percent,” the report stated....

Trump Confirms More Federal Judges in First Term than Any President in 40 Years

... As of October 5, according to the Heritage Foundation, Trump has confirmed 218 judges to Article III courts — that is, the “Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. courts of appeals, the U.S. district courts and the U.S. Court of International Trade.”

On October 26, that number will rise to 219 with the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

No president in the past four decades has appointed more judges in a first term. The only one who appointed more was Jimmy Carter, who appointed 248 — but he had the advantage of an expanded federal judiciary....

Shortly after that President Trump was nominated a second time for the Nobel Peace Prize, this time by Magnus Jacobsson for his historic Kosovo-Serbia Peace Agreement....

And then in late September President Trump was nominated for his THIRD NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his “Trump Doctrine.”...

What Joe Biden’s presidency might mean for H-1B visas and Indian immigration to the US

Article by Scroll in, September 7, 2020:

After the opening speakers had warmed up the virtual audience, a blue-suited Joe Biden appeared on the live stream with a bookshelf in the background and made what sounded like a campaign pitch to Indians and Indian Americans.

“I know it is hard,” he said in the message on India’s Independence Day. “My heart goes out to all those of you who have been the targets in the rise in hate crimes, the crackdown on legal immigration, including the sudden and harmful actions on H-1B visas that for decades have made America stronger... We will overcome and build back better than ever.”...

Biden has released a policy document – reportedly the first-ever by a presidential candidate – aimed exclusively at Indians. Among other things, it mentions his plans to reform the H-1B visa system, increase the number of visas, and eliminate “the limits on employment-based green cards by country, which have kept so many Indian families in waiting for too long”....

Joe Biden has made it crystal clear that he is going to turn the clock back and eliminate the anti-immigration proclamations/executive orders put in place by [Donald] Trump,” said Sheela Murthy, founder and president of Maryland-based Murthy Law Firm, one of the largest immigration firms in the US that has been helping immigrants since at least 1994.

The fact that Joe Biden has recognised America as a nation of immigrants is “music to the ears of immigration lawyers like myself,” said Murthy....

Kamala’s Facial Contortions Were Too Much to Bear, by Ann Corcoran, Frauds, Crooks and Criminals, October 8, 2020

Study: Joe Biden Migration Plan Could Bring 52 Million Foreign Nationals to U.S.

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden’s plan to overhaul the nation’s immigration system could help bring an estimated 52 million foreign nationals to the United States, a study details.

Researchers with the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) analyzed Biden’s immigration plan, revealing that through a series of amnesty, new visa programs, and increases to existing legal immigration levels, a potential 52 million foreign nationals could be added to the U.S. population.

Specifically, FAIR researchers project Biden’s proposed amnesty for roughly 11 to 22 million illegal aliens currently in the U.S. would help balloon the rate at which foreign nationals can secure family-based visa categories known as “chain migration.”...

The amnesty, coupled with the chain migration impact, could result in an additional 43.3 million foreign nationals arriving in the U.S., FAIR researchers project — a doubling of the current foreign born population.

The FAIR analysis also projects Biden’s plan to bring at least 2.4 million foreign nationals to the U.S. through a new city-request visa category, an increase in annual green cards, as well as more visas for foreign students and crime victims....

Senate Report's Explosive Hunter Biden Report

From the September 23, 2020 Geller Report, Senate Report's Explosive Hunter Biden Report: Millions in Shady Transactions Inc. Moscow Mayor’s Wife, Paid For Sex Trafficked Women By Russian Mob:

The 87-page report was released Wednesday by Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) and Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), who oversaw the probe since it was launched last year.

The probe found that in 2015, two Obama administration officials voiced concerns to White House officials about the possibility that the younger Biden serving on the board of Burisma could create the appearance of a conflict of interest, as his father oversaw Ukraine policy.

The report states that the Obama White House knew that Hunter’s position prevented “the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine.”

Who Will Tell the Truth About Joe Biden?

The inability of the mainstream media to accurately cover any of Joe Biden’s foibles is truly astonishing. If it was not already obvious by now, there is simply nothing Biden can say or do, no matter how incoherent, offensive, or alarming that would cause the current crop of “objective journalists” in the mainstream media, to even consider asking whether or not he has the mental capacity to be president of the United States....

The mainstream media finds Trump so morally and ethically repugnant that they would rather risk losing whatever credibility they have left, than to even suggest that a stumbling and often confused Biden has any businesses determining the U.S. tax code or holding China accountable for unleashing the Wuhan virus on the entire world. Instead of reporting on what should be fairly obvious to anyone with eyes or ears, the media seems to believe their main job is not only to protect Biden, but to prop him up by making him look as coherent and effective a leader as possible.....

Anyone who has watched Biden speak over the last several months knows that this is not the same Biden who served in the Senate for thirty-six years and then subsequently as vice president for another eight years. This might not even be the same Biden who we saw on the debate stage during the Democratic primaries last year.  The one who said in response to a question about the legacy of slavery, “The teachers are -- I’m married to a teacher, my deceased wife is a teacher... It’s not that they don’t want to help, they don’t know what to play the radio, make sure the television -- excuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night, the -- make sure that kids hear words.”...

Last week at an event in Delaware, Biden stood at the podium, while his staffers called on preselected journalists. One could be forgiven for wondering if these were reporters or Biden campaign officials who were asking him the questions. Biden, who was often caught glancing down at his notes on the podium, with prepared answers to the “questions,” should not have had to use them....

... we are left with fawning reporters who cover for Biden’s declining cognitive skills and provide him every opportunity to attack Trump. They are complicit in one of the greatest coverups ever orchestrated by the mainstream media.

A New Book Warns of the Imminent Danger of a Kamala Harris Presidency

From the insightful and recommended article: A New Book Warns of the Imminent Danger of a Kamala Harris Presidency, by Max Parry, Unz Review, October 13, 2020:

... Given the concerns about his health, the likelihood that Biden’s running mate, Senator Kamala Harris, would become his successor has put the controversial former prosecutor and California Attorney General’s own politics under scrutiny, though not to a degree sufficient with the odds she could very well become commander-in-chief in the near future....  as journalist Caleb Maupin explains in his new book Kamala Harris and the Future of America: An Essay in Three Parts, the prospect of her becoming president is no laughing matter....

Born in 1964, Harris was raised in a hub of the organized left in the Bay Area by immigrant parents who were politically active during her early childhood in Northern California. While not a communist, her estranged Jamaican-American father, Donald Harris, is a Stanford University professor and Marxian economist whose work influenced the progressive domestic reforms in his native island country during the administration of Prime Minister Michael Manley, a democratic socialist who introduced land redistribution, socialized medicine and free education until Jamaica’s neocolonization by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) decimated the Carribean nation with enormous debt, as explored in the documentary Life and Debt (2001)...

Maupin also argues that Harris was likely groomed for her present role as Biden’s running mate by the Clintonite wing of Democratic Party once it became apparent Hillary was not in a position to run again in 2020, citing a 2017 closed door meeting in the Hamptons with elite party donors and apparatchiks....

As the impact of the Frankfurt School gave rise to the New Left in the U.S. and Western Europe, mass social movements became housed in the universities instead of the factories....

Maupin’s use of Harris and the environment she grew up in as a springboard to investigate the shortcomings of the Western left generally is a formidable exploration that is desperately needed at a time where the American people are faced with the probability of enduring yet another destructive administration and no authentic left to represent it....
