So what do we do now that national security is compromised?

The bombshell was dropped by the head of the House Homeland Security Committee Monday during a speech at the National Defense University.

U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, declined to go into detail about the disclosure, the Hill reported.

But the revelation will add ammunition to critics of the White House's refugee plans who have warned that the program is vulnerable to infiltration by adherents of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, or ISIS...

INA § 212(f), [states]:

(f)Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate...

"Pursuant to this authority, I hereby suspend the entry of all persons from majority-Islamic countries into the United States, until further notice. The only exceptions to this order are Christians or others who are refugees from religious persecution in Islamic-majority countries."

We ought to halt all legal immigration and refugee resettlement from Muslim-majority countries and declare an indefinite moratorium — until two changes occur. First, we must devise a better way to identify and deny admission not only to terrorists but also to persons who sympathize with radical Islamism. It will surprise the average American to learn we are not capable of doing that today.

The need for those new rules is highlighted by a recent poll showing more than 40 percent of Muslims in the U.S. would like to see Sharia law imposed, and an alarming number admit a sympathy for ISIS and radical jihadists.

Second, we must change naturalization laws to create a 7-year probationary period during which any new citizen of any religion or national origin can be stripped of citizenship and deported easily if the person demonstrates any support for radical Islamists.

Why do this? Because we are at war with radical Islam. It is time we started acting like we understand that reality...

The citizenship of any naturalized American who preaches jihad, inequality of “infidels” and women, the establishment of the Shari’a law etc., should be revoked, and that person promptly deported to the country of origin.

Better technology is certainly needed, but “the most important immediate steps” demand controlling the borders...

Supervise Mosques and Islamic Centers - All mosques, Islamic centers and their individual members should be obliged to register with the Attorney General.All over the Western world Islamic centers have provided platforms for exhortations to the faithful to support causes and to engage in acts that are morally reprehensible, illegal, and detrimental to the host country’s national security. Their message is seditious, incompatible with the the U.S. Constitution and with common decency...

The model for the proposed measure exists in the McCarran Internal Security Act of 1950. The conditio sine qua non is to accept and declare that the First Amendment does not protect Jihadists. It is in the American tradition that nothing ought to protect those who advocate the overthrow of the United States Government by force and violence, and, at bottom, that is what the Jihadists are up to. Legal regulators need to grasp that Islam itself is a radical, revolutionary ideology, inherently seditious and inimical to American values and institutions.

Rather than allow Obama, Congress and Kerry to drop a quarter of a million Syrian potential terrorists onto America to start slaughtering our citizens, we, the American people, call for a “Total Immigration Shutdown” into our country. Additionally, no more Muslim immigrants to America of any kind for any reason!

The issue is not “terrorism” - it’s immigrant incompatibility...

In the end, the question is: why take the risk?

And the immediate answer is: an immigration moratorium (Muslims first).

Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.

According to Pew Research, among others, there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population. After the Paris attacks spurred 27 U.S governors to oppose allowing Syrian refugees into their states, Cruz went a step further Nov. 17, saying he won't allow any Muslim refugees from Syria into the country...

He said he'll introduce legislation that would outright reject Muslim refugees, while creating measures to vet Christian refugees from the war-torn country. The Texas senator added that he'll seek to defund the federal refugee resettlement program, which has brought in 1,829 Syrians as of Nov. 17...

Cruz said. "I'll tell you what is shameful, is that we have a President that after seven years still refuses to utter the words radical Islamic terrorism."
