Pittsburgh, not Paris
As an environmentalist, I am elated that President Trump pulled out of the Paris Accord. This is for several reasons:
1. It was not ratified by the Senate, and would not have been ratified.
2. The science indicates that it would have been ineffectual.
3. It would have economically penalized America while giving other countries essentially a free pass.
Also, while my understanding is that climate change is augmented by anthropogenic factors, I am no longer convinced that it is caused solely by anthropogenic factors. (However, we should still mitigate those factors as much as possible.)
