The most revealing book of the year certainly must be Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends, by Peter Schweizer.

The book explains how Chinese companies purchased U.S. politicians in order to obtain trade advantages. No wonder the swamp is opposed to President Trump's trade policies.
