Has America Become Too Big to Solve Our Problems?
America stands at 340 million people in 2023, plus 20 million [or more] illegal aliens. Population projections show America jumping to 440 million by 2050, give or take a few years. Virtually all of it caused by mass legal and illegal immigration.
As a math-Science teacher back in the 1970's, three months off each summer allowed me to travel a great deal. Because I was so poorly paid ($5,400 per year), I traveled on a bicycle, of course! Every night, a tent under the stars! Those thousands of miles across America, and then, Europe, then South America, then Australia - really taught me more than all my years in college.
But it wasn't until 1984 that I reached Asia. What a vast landmass of mountains, people, rivers, and astounding cultures and countries. For certain, I was a happy-go-lucky mid-twenties kind of guy pedaling on the road of life. If you would like to read about my life on the road, you might pick up a copy either in soft cover or audio-book: The Kickstand Chronicles - The Miraculous, Funny, Sublime, and Downright Terrifying - Subttitle: Inevitable Moments of the Journey, Bicycling Across Six Continents, 45 Years, 150,000 Miles (January 2023). I promise you won't be disappointed. To tell you the truth, it's a wonder I'm still alive.
But it wasn't until I reached China that my entire world view changed. Back in 1984, that country housed 1.2 billion. Today, 1.4 billion, and growing 8 million, net gain annually. Then, India at 1.1 billion. Today, 1.42 billion people, and growing by 16 million annually, net gain. India outranks China in numbers in 2023. They are both on a collision course with horrific pollution, lack of resources, massive poverty, diseases, horrible subsistence living conditions, and miserable quality of life.
I floated the Yangtze River in China - it was polluted beyond comprehension! Chemicals, human waste, animal waste, sewage of every kind floated out into the ocean to create a 20,000 square mile dead zone. I floated the Ganges River. It was and is a poisonous conveyor sewage belt that expels trillions of gallons of toxic waste into the Indian Ocean 24/7. And again, a 20,000 square mile dead zone. What is a dead zone? It occurs when so many toxic chemicals are expelled into the ocean by a river, vertebrate marine life cannot live in that zone.
Just to sober you up further, our own Mississippi River creates a 10,000 square mile dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico. Old Man River spews trillions of gallons into the Gulf 24/7 of chemical fertilizers, oil, GMO's, glyphosates, Roundup poisons, weed killers, industrial waste, cans, bottles, papers and more. It starts out at 6 feet wide and 12 inches deep, and travels 2552 miles, 1,735 feet of elevation decline, 1.5 miles per hour from Lake Itasca, MN to New Orleans. How do I know? I canoed the Mississippi River 20 years ago. I loaded garbage bags full of junk I found along the way...
Anyway, you cannot believe your eyes in China. They burn from the smokey, polluted, acrid air from millions of smokestacks, cars, diesel trucks and industrial manufacturing plants littering China. They build and put on line one full coal-fired electrical plant every week of the year. So much for stopping carbon exhaust and climate change!
Get this, 50 lanes of traffic, ONE WAY. When you see it, you can hardly believe your eyes.
The government crams everyone into 200 square foot rooms in skyscrapers. Chinese must drink polluted water, breathe poison air and live among themselves in a crush of people. They are so big; they cannot solve their problems. They are so overpopulated; they can't feed their own people. They have created a living nightmare for their own citizens.
Why do you think a total of 24,000 Chinese Nationals crashed our borders in October, 2023 as reported by the U.S. Border Patrol? Why do you think they are chain-migrating into America and Canada by the hundreds of thousands? Why do you think Vancouver, BC is now dominated by Chinese?
Let's examine India: what a friggin' living nightmare. They lack water treatment plants. They don't offer porta-potties in cities, so everyone just does their business on the land, in the streets, rivers, lakes, et al. India offers Mother Nature a sanitation nightmare 24/7. If you look past the Taj Mahal, you will see a polluted river filled with plastic debris. It's so bad, they can't or won't pick up all the plastic they have created. So many people are so illiterate, they simply live within the trash, filth and garbage. You don't dare drink ordinary water. India's population is so enormous, they cannot employ simple solutions for their citizens. Why do you think Indians are chain-migrating into America by the hundreds of thousands?
Which brings me to a most sobering reality check: why do you think we've been invaded by over 20 million illegal aliens in the past 30 years, another 8 million in just the last 34 months of Biden's reign? People will migrate from misery to anywhere else in the world to save themselves. Look what's happening to Europe, Canada and Australia.
The fact grows that America is on course to add 100 million more people within the next 25 to 30 years, give or take. Virtually all of that increase by mass immigration and their birthrates.
In a five minute astoundingly simple yet brilliant video, "Immigration, Poverty, and Gum Balls", Roy Beck, director of NumbersUSA, graphically illustrates the impact of overpopulation. Take five minutes to see for yourself.
That's why I have written about the absurdity of “alternative energy” and saving humanity from “climate change.” With another 1 to 2 billion more people added to the planet by 2050 - and all of them demanding energy to travel, heating homes, cooking food and living their lives, the human race and all life on this planet face a really, God-awful predicament.
What blows this journalist's mind stems from the fact that the American people don't have a clue as to what's coming. The mainstream media won't report what's coming. And, the majority of Congress will continue sitting on their hands until America replicates China, Europe, and India
