Tell DEM Senate Leadership not to include a mass amnesty in upcoming budget reconciliation bill

Dear activists,

 

Thanks to all of the NumbersUSA activists who have helped keep the phones ringing in Senate offices! We must continue to keep the pressure on this week as another House Democrat (Rep. Lou Correa of California) has announced that he won't vote for a budget reconciliation bill without an amnesty.

 

Congressional Democrats continue to plan to slip an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens into the upcoming budget reconciliation bill. According to media reports, the proposal would grant amnesty to illegal aliens eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, illegal farmworkers, and recipients of Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

 

By using the budget reconciliation process, Congressional Democrats can avoid a filibuster in the Senate since the process requires only 50 Democratic votes, instead of the 60 votes needed to pass most legislation.

 

Please call Democratic Senate Leaders and urge them to keep an amnesty for illegal aliens out of the budget reconciliation process!
